B2B quote delivery automation: a custom configurator and the HubSpot API

In the agricultural equipment industry, creating customized proposals for different models and accessories can be a tedious and time-consuming process. Customers often have to wait for days to receive their proposals, while businesses struggle to keep up with the influx of requests. Here is how we streamlined and automated this process.

The Problem:

Our client had a basic configurator on their website, but they were struggling to create proposals quickly enough. Their sales team couldn’t keep up with the volume of requests, causing customers to look elsewhere. The database structure and user experience were also in need of an overhaul to accommodate the company’s growth.

The Solution:

To address these challenges, we built a new database structure using Laravel Nova, mySQL and Redis. We used Nuxt.js for the frontend to optimize the user experience. However, the highlight of the project was the integration of the HubSpot API. Customer configurations are passed directly to HubSpot, where contacts are created, deals are opened, and quotes are automatically generated and sent to the customer without any manual intervention.

The Result:

Our solution resulted in significant time savings for quote creation – and happier customers who received their proposals quickly. The conversion rate also improved as a result.
